The graduate engineer of this specialization, continuing the professional traditions of the mining engineer, is a specialist with a rich background of general theoretical knowledge, coupled with a solid knowledge of some disciplines of specialized technical culture, able to solve, competently and efficiently, the specific problems of mining activity. This training enables him to master both the activities of design, planning and technical-economic rationale of the exploitation of mineral deposits, as well as participation in the management of mining units at different hierarchical levels. The specialisation provides knowledge in the electrical and energy fields, related to the production sectors in general, and in the electricity production and distribution sectors.
