Dear Sir or Madam,
IRCEM invites you to a practical workshop organised within the REVHYDRO project on integrating circular economy principles into the maintenance and modernisation of hydropower equipment. Using an anonymised technical case, we will compare options for repairing, refurbishing and replacing a component, including safety and environmental protection requirements.

Workshop objectives:
- ISO 59004: principles and options for retaining value, from maintenance and repair to refurbishment and materials recovery.
- ISO 59010: the roles of operators, manufacturers, suppliers and service providers, including barriers related to procurement and warranties.
- ISO 59020 and ISO 59040: practical indicators and component information to support comparison and data exchange.
Participants will receive an aggregated summary containing the comparison matrix, a map of barriers and the minimum data requirements identified during the workshop. Contributions may inform the REVHYDRO tools, guidelines and training materials. The standards will serve as working references; the workshop does not provide certification.
Sharing general experience or anonymised data ranges is sufficient to participate. Sensitive commercial and technical data will only be discussed later, on a bilateral basis, if you wish. We will not record the discussion or publish identifiable examples without separate approval.
